You can feel spring arriving before you can quite see it.
Walking among the silver birch, the pale trunks catch the soft morning light and the woodland seems to be waking up around you.
There’s a freshness in the air. New leaves are beginning to appear, flowers are starting to open and the woods are slowly filling with the sounds of spring.
Everything is beginning again.
I love this time of year — that point when winter has finally loosened its grip and you start noticing little signs of what’s to come.
