Clear Morning, Low Tide | 40x40cm

There’s something rather lovely about walking across a Cornish beach when the tide is out.
On a clear morning, the pale sand stretches out beneath a bright blue sky, with little pools of water left behind as the sea retreats.
I love walking along the beach at this time, watching the patterns in the sand and the light catching the wet surface.
This painting came from one of those mornings when everything seemed fresh, bright and open.
Just sand, sea, light and a good walk.
